Zune’s Music is Life “Advert”

Many posts have been written about this Zune “advert” called “Music is Life”

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

It’s sweet, but what’s interesting is that Stewart Hendler‘s film is called a “speculative spot” and yet everyone’s talking about it like it’s an official advert. Is it? Or isn’t it? What’s a speculative spot anyway? I know that one of Apple’s iPhone adverts was simply a “pro version” of a spot created by Nick Haley, and that many companies are getting in on the user generated content angle, but really, is this a ruse to get our interest piqued, or is it in fact an advert that’s been poorly labelled on YouTube? Answers in the comments box please.

There are further ruminations at istartedsomething.

Thanks to the Law for the knowledge.
