The latest phase of our Write The Future campaign for Nike has gone live, as we took over the largest poster site in the UK.
Mimicking that famous landmark Mount Rushmore, the faces of four England stars Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Theo Walcott and James Milner take the place of the traditional four presidents of the United States of America. Mindshare have planted the billboard designed by Weiden and Kennedy on Cromwell Road in West London, taking over the largest advertising site in the UK from today until Sunday 20th June.
A massive coup for Mindshare, as we secured the massive 75 meter long, 16 metres high and 2 metres deep site 8 months ago in order to bring to life the biggest advert in the UK. The ad is predicted to be seen around six million times in the lead up to the opening fixture alone.
The only issue? Walcott’s ommission from the final 23-man squad. Well, we cant predict everything I guess… Hope Capello knows more than us! The future is unwritten. Play to be remembered.
Many thanks to SoccerBible for the words
