This edition of the New York Times was printed a mere 1.2m times and distributed across NYC. Created by a vast number of liberal thinkers and journalists (including real New York Times journalists, The Yes Men, and Improv Everywhere, and indeed possibly even the Obama campaign as part of the Hope and Change efforts), it created quite a stir at the real paper and online.
