There’s an interview of Andrew Tuck, the editor of Monocle, over at the fabulously named BlackLodges.com
Monocle is one of the best magazine’s out on the stands at the moment: affairs, business, culture, design, fashion, genuine journalism – it’s like The Spectator meets Salon, with Honeyee thrown in for good measure, sold at a Commes Des Garcons concept store. Yet there are still many people whom I respect and consider to be well travelled that have never even come across it, or indeed who have just dismissed it. I highly recommend you pick up a copy on your next flight, and read every article through your journey. Then pass it on to the person you’re sat next to. That’s what I do, at any rate!
PSFK points out an interesting article about the design of Monocle, online and off, that they found at City of Sound blog.
