Historically Inaccurate Upholstery

Historically Inaccurate is kind of the portfolio site for a really very interesting artist, Richard Saja, who manipulates, remixes and subtley changes upholstery. He’s actually doing more than that (glow in the dark landscapes, clocks etc, all around needle work) but I find the work below incredible. I’m saving up to buy something from him, even if it’s just a cushion. There’s something close to what Jake and Dinos Chapman did to Goya in Richard’s work it seems to me.
